Discover, Play Learn
In this joyful, hands-on class designed just for TK–1st grade learners, students will explore the world around them through play-based learning, guided discovery, and creative expression. Each week brings new opportunities to build foundational skills in literacy, math, science, and social development—all through movement, music, storytelling, sensory play, and art.
With a focus on curiosity, connection, and confidence-building, children will be encouraged to ask questions, try new things, and collaborate with friends. Whether we’re counting with nature, experimenting with colors, or acting out stories, this class celebrates the magic of learning through play.

TK-K Little Edventurers
This class provides an opportunity for our youngest edventurers to learn and grow in an environment tailored to meet their social, emotional, and academic needs. Students engage in literature-rich, theme-based activities that promote social-emotional development, fine and gross motor activities, early literacy, and language development for learners of all types. This hands-on program prioritizes purposeful, structured play, small-group instruction, and intentional teaching through hands-on, experiential activities.
K-2 Edventures in Learning
Edventures in learning is a thorough K-2 program that provides students an exciting literature rich learning experience where they are exposed to all the CORE subjects through a variety of engaging and innovative activities. Hands on projects will speak directly to a child’s sense of wonder and adventure. Curricula is correlated to K & 1st grade standards and teachers provide regular communication between parent, student, and charter school through our online learning management system.
Edventures in Nature
This engaging program combines hands-on activities, storytelling, and outdoor exploration to ignite curiosity and foster a love for nature. With an emphasis on teamwork and creativity, students will develop observational skills and a deeper connection to the environment, making each class an exciting edventure!
Makerspace
In this hands-on class, young learners will embark on a journey of creativity, exploration, and innovation. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials, tools, and technologies. Whether they're constructing a cardboard castle or designing a marble maze, creating mosaics or making slime, this class is guaranteed to unleash students' creativity as they ignite a passion for making and tinkering!
The Edventure Continues: 3rd Grade Edition
This 3rd-grade class is an interactive, literature-based class that integrates Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science through engaging, hands-on unit studies. Each themed unit is built around engaging books and includes creative projects, experiments, group activities, and real-world applications. Students will develop foundational skills while exploring topics in a fun, meaningful way that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
Time Travelers: Ancient History
Travel back in time to explore the wonders of ancient civilizations! In this hands-on history class, students will dive into exciting stories from places like Egypt, Greece, Rome, China, and Mesopotamia. Through creative projects, fun crafts, and interactive activities, they’ll bring the past to life. Students will also do simple research, act out historical events, and even build models of famous landmarks. Get ready for a fun and unforgettable journey through ancient history!
Time Travelers: US History
In this interactive class, students will explore early American history through hands-on projects, group activities, and engaging stories. From the first settlements and early explorers to the founding of the United States, students will investigate the key events and people that shaped the nation. With maps, creative projects, and teamwork, history comes to life in fun and meaningful ways.
Jr. High US History
This interactive History course uses rich literature, group work, and hands-on projects to bring the past to life. Students explore key events and figures through historical fiction, biographies, and primary sources while engaging in creative activities like debates, role-plays, and project-based learning. Designed to inspire curiosity and connection, this class makes history meaningful and memorable.
Jr. High World History
Take a journey through ancient to early modern civilizations. Students will engage in hands-on activities, group discussions, and both solo and team research projects to explore how people, ideas, and events have shaped the world. With a focus on critical thinking and creativity, students will investigate the past through maps, artifacts, timelines, and collaborative projects that make history engaging and meaningful.
California History
Students will explore California’s rich history through hands-on projects, group activities, and engaging stories. From the earliest communities and Spanish missions to the Gold Rush and statehood, students will investigate the people, places, and events that shaped the state. Using maps, models, art, and collaborative learning, history comes alive in fun and meaningful ways.
Going Places!
In the first half of our journey, students will explore the wild and fascinating land of Australia! Through interactive lessons and creative projects they’ll “travel” across the continent—discovering its stunning landscapes, extraordinary animals, cultural traditions, and famous landmarks.
Don’t spill the beans—it surprise! but the second half of our journey is going deep! Students will plunge Under the Sea into a world of wonder, mystery, and imagination.
Going Places! provides students an exciting blend of history, science, engineering, literature, art, and movement—woven into immersive, hands-on learning adventures. From the rugged Outback to the mysteries of the deep, every week invites curiosity, courage, and creativity.

Books and Bites
Students in this literature-based course will focus on one engaging children’s book each week and then create a delicious snack that goes with it! Together we will learn about predicting, retelling, and sequencing stories. Students will practice basic math when they measure ingredients, comprehension as they learn to follow recipes, independence as they create snacks on their own, and team building as they learn to work in groups
STEM Edventures
The Great STEM Adventure provides hands-on learning and exploration of STEM concepts through a series of exciting stories with STEM challenges that follow. Learners will use question asking and answer seeking investigations to develop plans that will put their engineering skills to the test!
LEGO Landmarks
This course is designed to take students on a journey around the world as they explore famous world landmarks and record facts about them. Then, they will test their creativity and ingenuity while replicating each landmark using LEGO’s. Students will learn to work both independently and in small groups. It is time for facts AND fun! Course content, as well as extended study suggestions, will be provided weekly through Schoology. In the extended study section, you will find printable materials, vocabulary, landmark coloring book, craft projects and/or hands on activities.
